This is the endeavor of the CERD to consolidate its position as a member of the Think Tank community and concentrate on the challenges and opportunities for the National Development. In the context, following activities are included in its future plans:

a) Intensifying joint collaborative programs with major institutions with the focus on research studies, interchange of research output/ information and exchange of scholars.
b) Carrying out survey, analysis and impact assessment related to educational innovation and development.
c) Organizing multi-disciplinary regional forum and centers with a view to attack on the bottlenecks and hindrances in the national development where education is a key role player.
d) Expansion of activities of CERD in the field of environment, education, pollution control technology and evaluation studies.
e) Enhancing awareness among the public in general and among the industrial and other entrepreneurs in particular on environmental and educational issues involved in their economic and productive activities.
